The service performance of container port is an important section in the international trade container transportation industry. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the service performances of container ports using the multiple criteria evaluation method. The evaluated container ports include the port of Hong Kong, the port of Shanghai and the port of Kaohsiung. Finally, this paper presented some interesting conclusions and useful suggestions for the managers of containers ports to improve the service performances.
