Abstract:

This paper is concerned with a nonsmooth optimal control problem in which the functionals on the right-hand sides of the differential equations describing the controlled system and the minimizing functional are quasidifferentiable. In addition to boundary conditions contact conditions are also considered. As a result, a necessary optimality condition which generalizes the Pontryagin maximum principle is obtained.
