Abstract:

In this paper we introduce as new method of ranking units according to their efficiency score that was measured by common weights. The criterion of the common weights is the fitness between the new scores and the DEA efficiency score by a combination of two measurements: the coefficient of correlation between the two ranks and the sum of squares of deviations between the two sets of scores. We compare this new ranking method with other ranking methods; some of them are based on common weights, such as CCA/DEA, DR/DEA, DDEA and GE/DEA, as well as other ranking methods based on a byproduct of the DEA.
