The problem of optimal multi-period production scheduling for continuous-discrete production was formulated as that of mixed-integer programming with a special structure of the constraints on the discrete variables. As was shown, this form of taking into consideration the a priori requirements on the schedule enables reduction in the number of possible variants of values of the discrete variables and, thus, simplification of the problem. The results obtained were verified by way of a plant model.
