The paper presents a brief introduction to possibility of application of multicriteria approaches to performance analysis of production units. Using of a hierarchical performance system that captures multiple perspectives enables an application of the Analytic Hierarchy Process. The Analytic Network Process is the method that makes it possible to deal systematically with linkages between different perspectives.
