The Fuzzy DEA approach is introduced in Quality Function Deployment to evaluate relative performance of alternative product designs, when performance characteristics obtained from voice of customers are fuzzy, product design data are often limited, inaccurate and vague, and imprecise relationships exist among engineering and performance characteristics.
