The study provides the information that a farm plan based on an efficient allocation of resources would ensure food security among Agropastoralists in Giwa area of Kaduna state. Goal programming model was used to analyze the data. The result shows that the optimal farm plan that ensures food security among Agropastoralists recommends that an average Agropastoralists household should devote 0.68 and 0.89 hectares of farm land to producing maize and maize/cowpea respectively.
