This paper considers a two-different-units paralleled repairable system with a replaceable facility and repair delay. By assuming that the life of each unit has exponential distribution and both the repair time and repair delay time have general distribution, while the repair facility's life obeys exponential distribution and its repair time obeys general distribution, some primary reliability behaviors are obtained by using Markov renewal process theory and a new analytic approach – the decomposition method.
