System dynamics is an important theory and approach to explore the complex system. The model of system dynamics can help us count and control store of distribution center effectively. The policy optimization problems in a system dynamics model, however, still follow the cut-and-try method, which does not work well. According to the principles of system dynamics, the paper presents a general formulation of policy optimization problem in a system dynamics model by introducing a control policy function. Combining with genetic algorithms, then, the order policy optimization in a distribution and supermarket system is addressed.
