This paper presents a practical optimization study in the field of distribution. The service considered involves collections as well as deliveries which have to be performed within rather tight time constraints. The presentation of the problem is followed by a description of the stepwise optimization process used to solve it. Practical results are then given to illustrate the savings achieved by the study.
