Successful implementation of advanced technologies poses a challenge to manufacturers. This case study discusses how one company used a stepwise strategy for implementing statistical process control, closed loop process control, and robotic parts handling. The stepwise strategy allowed the company to document the quality and cost improvements for each stage of the implementation.
