The traditional model of an information system is criticized because it leads to a narrow view of the role of IS’s in organizations. In contrast, the modern view takes into account neglected functions such as memorization, communications, control, self-regulation, maintenance, self-testing and other logic functions with which the Organization Information System is endowed as an artificial and intelligent system.
