Based on partial order preference of groups, multi-attribute group decision making problem without determining weights is studied and attribute values are given using linguistic terms. First, the fuzzy preference relation between alternatives for each criterion is worked out, and then this problem is solved through determining compromise weights and participants with conflicting preferences. We need to adjust (to reverse or to withdraw) some or all of the preferences from different participants when compromise weight is not known. The method has a clear concept and feasibility. The compromise weights obtained by this method reflect all the participants' preferences. Finally a numerical example is used to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
