Abstract:

Banerjee's recent article, ‘Concurrent pricing and lot sizing for make-to-order contract production’, deals with the problem of simultaneously determining the sales price and lot size in a make-to-order contract production environment from the supplier's perspective, where the supplier's objective is to set the level of the unit sales price in order to obtain a target unit gross profit. In the development of this model, Banerjee used some previous results obtained by other researchers, which are given in this note.
