Inventory models with resource constraints and shortages allowed on seasonal demand

To the best of the authors' knowledge there is no work done on the inventory problem with seasonal demand, shortages allowed, and resource constrained. In this study, we propose an integer programming method to solve the problem. The proposed model not only can easily be applied to real life but also allows constraints to be added by decision maker to fit the real world situations. Finally, some examples are included for demonstrating the usefulness of the proposed model.
