Abstract:

This paper gives a new linear equivalent form of the Charnes, Cooper and Rhodes model (C2R-model) for the multiple solutions of C2R-model. In the light of this linear equivalent form, the definition of strong DEA-efficient is introduced and an equivalent theorem of DEA-efficient decision cells is showed, which reflects the economic implications of DEA-efficient decision cells, and it is emphasized that strong DEA-efficient is how to improve on the conception of DEA-efficiency. Finally, by the definition of non-inferior vertex of multi-surface convex cone, the geometry meaning of strong DEA-efficient is illustrated, and an example is given.
