When the input and output data of the modified DEA–MDEA are interval numbers, the MDEA model was extended to interval MDEA. An order relation between interval numbers which can express the decision-maker's satisfaction degree was defined. Based on this the inequality contraints of interval MDEA can be transformed into exact constraints at a certain satisfaction degree. Another meaning of the satisfaction degree was then studied, viz. the preference to the DMUs except the DMU being evaluated. Based on this the equality constraints and objective function of interval MDEA can be transformed into exact ones. As a result, the interval MDEA was transformed into an exact MDEA at a certain satisfaction degree of the decision-maker and we can gain its solution. Finally an example was given.
