Supply chain contracts are the fundamental ways in realizing supply chain coordination and profit partition. In this paper, the demands from downstream enterprises are divided into two kinds, which are described as deterministic demands (described by means of deterministic function with given strucures) and uncertain demands (described by means of random function). The demand-driven contract problems are then defined in the scenario of supply chain management. Afterwards, the theories and methodologies of supply chain contract are overviewed under the conditions of independent decision and united decision. In the end, some open problems and challenging prospects are proposed in future research of supply chain contract.
