Abstract:

This paper intends to evaluate the academic evolution of an engineering students group who entered Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)–Brazil in 1997. Both scholarship bulletins and lecturers' opinions are considered in order to understand what “a good student” is. The lecturers' opinions are evaluated with the multicriteria elementary methods of Borda and Condorcet. A statistical analysis is performed with the scholarship bulletins from 1997 until 2000.
