The performance of communication network on the N-policy M/G/1 queueing system with two priorities is analyzed. By using the complementary variable method to analyze the state equilibrium equations of this queueing system, the generating function of queue length distribution of N-policy M/G/1 queueing system with two priorities and the mean queue length in the buffer of the communication network are derived. Through further discussion of the two queues with different priorities, the generating function of queue length distribution and the stationary queue length of queues with different priorities are also derived.
