Approaches to transformation between Analytic Hierarchy Process judgment matrix and fuzzy judgment matrix

In this paper, several approaches to the transformation between Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) judgment matrix and fuzzy judgment matrix are proposed. With respect to each approach, the relation of consistency between these two judgment matrices is discussed. Furthermore, the problem of coordinating the methods for determining the priority weight vector is discussed. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the applications of these transformation formulas. The study makes it possible to effectively integrate experts' preferences expressed by AHP judgment matrix and fuzzy judgment matrix in group decision making.
