Abstract:

In this paper, three linear programming models for evacuating hurricane in South Carolina are presented, which are based on the three strategies reversal of traffic, district-by-district evacuation and the use of smaller highways respectively. The sensitivity analysis will be helpful to us to find the influence of establishing more temporary shelters and such kind of conditions. The results of our models are very near to the result evaluated by official institution.
