The object of this paper is to describe how the Company finds an answer to the problem ‘How to improve the knowledge of the future’. The answer will be pragmatic, because the Company is searching for the theoretical aspect of short term forecast, and a way to improve the linkage between two opposites functions: to sale-to produce. A successful case study using a decision support system software is described.
