In the classical newsboy problem, there is only one time for ordering, there is conflict between service level and the safety stock. To deal with this difficulty, in this paper, we study the reordering newsboy problem. The mathematical model is formulated under the constraint of limited reordering quantity. We give a specific method to find the optimal solution with triangular demand distribution.
