Abstract:

A method for group decision making with different forms of preference information was proposed. Six forms of preference information provided by decision maker in group decision making, such as utility value, preference ordering, multiplicative judgement matrix, interval numbers, linguistic assessment value and fuzzy reciprocal judgement matrix, were described. The computational formulas were given to uniform six different forms of preference information into the form of fuzzy reciprocal judgement matrix. Based on OWA (Ordered Weighted Averaging) aggregation operators, an approach was presented to aggregate the preference information provided by every decision maker and select the most desirable alternative(s). A numerical example was used to illustrate the use of the proposed method.
