Nonparametric data envelopment analysis models for resource allocation

Frontiers analysis has more and more applications to economic problems and nonparametric methodology is one important analysis method in this field. This paper gives resource allocation models with cone structure, and also analyses economics problems with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), a nonparametric method. Comparing the traditional methods, we can not only obtain the same results by this method, but also get richer economic and management information. Therefore, the nonparametric DEA models have special advantages for dealing with economic problems.
