Abstract:

This paper considers the queueing system based on the M[x]/G[r]/∞ model. We introduce an (r, N)-policy (this policy system is called a hysteretic system). At first, we analyze the embedded Markov chain, and obtain the probability generating function P(z). Then by the semi-regeneration process theory, we obtain the probability generating function of the number of customers in the system p(z).
