The analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation are combined to handle a multi-objects evaluation problem in this paper. An example is also illustrated, which evaluates the comprehensive performance of four ships. The result indicates that the compound method introduced in this paper is an effective and concise one.
