Moving from a single decision maker to a group of decision makers introduces a great deal of complexity into analysis. The problem is no longer the selection of the most preferred alternative among the nondominated solution according to one individual's preference structure. The analysis must be extended to account for the conflicts among different interest groups who have different objectives, goals, criteria, and so on. Following up on the method of fuzzy weighted average presented by the author earlier, in this paper we propose a fuzzy compromise method for group decision making, based on fuzzy maximum set and fuzzy minimum set.
