With respect to multiple attribute decision-making problems with uncertain levels, an analysis method for similarity to ideal solution is proposed. In the method, the multiple attribute decision-making problems with intervals and algorithm on intervals are introduced. Based on the traditional TOPSIS method a calculation step for solving the decision making problems with intervals is given. The analysis method is simple and practical. It overcomes the deficiencies that occur in ranking intervals in the traditional analysis methods. A numerical example is given to illustrate the use of the proposed method.
