Currently research on communication network switching with various priorities is one of the most active research fields. The switching system on the M/M/s queue with two priorities and Poisson arrivals in communication network is analyzed in this paper. The mean queue lengths of two kinds of cells arrived to switch are obtained through the analysis of state equilibrium equations and partial state equilibrium equations. By using the relationship between exponential distribution and Poisson distribution, the average queue length at the output lines is also derived.
