A new job-shop production scheduling algorithm is presented based on genetic algorithm and workpiece technological knowledge. Using scan-round principle of PLC software programming, the problem of simulation for production scheduling is solved. It supplies a new method for solving production scheduling problems in manufacturing automated systems.
