The main purpose of this paper is to establish some conditions which are both necessary and sufficient for a solution to a fuzzy linear programming problem to be unique in the presence of parameter perturbations. The basic idea behind the present approach is to translate the original problem in deterministic terms via tools provided by fuzzy set theory and investigate uniqueness conditions for the basic case of conventional programming under interval uncertainty. In order to obtain the crisp equivalent model the authors use Zimmermann’s approach. An example is included to illustrate the proposed technique.
