Abstract:

Group decision making problems with different form of preference information are a relatively new research topic. With regard to two forms of preference information (i.e. judgement matrices and fuzzy preference relation matrices) about the alternatives provided by the decision makers, this paper proposes an approach to combine two kinds of preference by using transformation functions. The research results of this paper lay a solid foundation for studying the integration of preference information and ranking of alternatives. Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the use of the proposed approach.
