This paper presents a single-objective optimization model in multi-attribute decision making problem, in which both the attribute weights and the elements in decision-making matrix are in the forms of interval numbers, and gives some formulas for normalizing decision matrix. A possibility degree-based method for ranking alternatives is presented, and a numerical example is also given to show the feasibility and the effectiveness of the developed model and method.
