All MRP system implementors and user department managers face the same nagging question: ‘Are people using the system?’ This article describes the collection of MRP system usage data via system performance software to answer the basic question. Further analysis of this data provides insights and helps in managing MRP as the system is supported on an on-going basis. Real data from one MRP implementation is used to provide examples of how problems can be solved.
