Abstract:

A fuzzy chance constrained programming model for bi-level distribution network design in the supply chain is put forward, in which both customers' demands for products and production capacity of branch plants are treated as fuzzy parameters. The way to convert chance constraints to their respective crisp equivalents is also discussed. To speed up the process of solving the problem, a heuristic algorithm is hybridized with conventional branch-and-bound method.
