Abstract:

This paper presents and considers a pair-wise agent modeling of integration by multi-agent approach. The pair-wise agent model consists of the two distributed centers: the sales center and the production center, and the role of pair-wise agent is to achieve the manufacturing systems' goal. First, the three types of pair-wise agent model are identified, and are formulated on the base of job-shop model. Next, the problem of maximizing the marginal profit (= accepted price – operating cost) is discussed from a view of communications in integration by queueing simulation. Finally, a condition for the better collaboration/integration is suggested.
