Layout visualisation of technological contours of harbour management systems

The paper presents methods of layout visualisation used in a methodology designing information systems, called ‘LISTechnology’. It has been exploited for analysing and designing harbour management systems in a number of EU projects. The methodology provides a customer administration with transparency of all steps of a project, related to analysis and design of information systems. The resulting layout visualisation ensures a background for quantitative analysis and simulation of the considered system. A harbour management system HARVIS is presented as an example of a practical implementation of the proposed methodology.
