The relative performance of dynamic lot-sizing techniques has been of considerable interest in recent years. While performance in terms of cost effectiveness has been addressed, the impact on return on investment as it applies to finished goods schedules has not been determined. This article explores the effects of one dynamic lot-sizing technique, namely the Wagner-Whitin algorithm, on return on investment.
