Non-preemptive priority queueing models with changeover times and switching threshold

A single-server two-queue priority queueing system with changeover times and switching threshold was studied for the case of a preemptive queue discipline. We now go further into the study of this system for the non-preemptive case, and also obtain the steady joint probability generating function of the lengths of two queues. By means of this generating function some important performance measures of the system such as mean length of queue can be calculated.
