In the paper, the problem of inventory of goods which are apt to deteriorate is discussed. We give an optimal inventory policy, namely, the goods must be delivered as soon as ordered and the status of being out of stock is not allowed. It is also proved that the above model is not the simple combination of those models in which the goods are of constant deterioration during the whole process.
