The bilevel programming model and algorithm for the interaction of multi-modal traffic origin–destination demands estimation

Interaction among traffic modes on mixed traffic network is considered in this paper, and a bilevel programming model based on the variational inequality of multimodal equilibrium assignment is established for origin destination demands estimation. Then sensitivity analysis is presented about the variational inequality of multimodal equilibrium assignment, and a heuristic algorithm based on sensitivity analysis is proposed. Finally a numerical example is given.
