We prove a new theorem on existence of a feasible solution to the unbalanced transportation problem (UTP). We obtain an optimal solution to the UTP without balancing it. By this method, we achieve the goal without changing the order of the transportation table with less calculations and iterations. We illustrate the method by suitable examples.
