A method for multi-indices for decision and evaluation based on relative approximation

Based on the analysis of other multi-indices for decision and evaluation methods, this paper points out the limitation of the simple add weight (SAW) method. Then by defining the ideal point and negative point and introducing a distance measure, an expression of relative approximation is constructed. In order to study the differences between this method and the other methods, the paper gives an example and analyses the variations between the different methods, then points out the rationale of the method.
