In developing the just-in-time relationship between the supplier and the customer, both parties must receive benefits. This article explores eight areas where concessions can be made to the supplier at little or no cost to the buyer. These concessions can serve as incentives to the supplier as well as offering the opportunity to enhance profits to both parties as they develop a mutually satisfactory and beneficial working relationship using the JIT concept.
