The study of a supply problem with finite resource capacity

In order to solve supply chain management problems by the JIT philosophy, a supply problem with supply capacity and transportation capacity is presented and the model is built. A linear programming model which is solved by common simple method, is at the centre of the heuristic algorithm presented here. The algorithm can make the planning purchase quantities as near to the orders as possible while maintaining the balance of supply capacity and transportation capacity.
