This paper gives concepts of generalised fuzzy consistent matrix and rank transitive fuzzy complementary judgement matrix, etc., and presents a method for priority of generalised fuzzy consistent matrix. Its desirable properties are studied and its feasibility and effectiveness are also demonstrated by a numerical example. The generalised fuzzy consistent matrix and its priority method will be of great practical appeal and application potential in many areas such as the hierarchy analytic process, fuzzy complex evaluation, etc.
