A heuristic procedure for the capacitated lot sizing problem with set-up carry-over

This paper considers the capacitated lot sizing problem (CLSP) with set-up carry-over. Set-up carry-over means the continuation of a production run from one period to the next without an additional set-up if the facility produces the same item both at the end of the current period and at the beginning of the next period. This paper presents an efficient forward pass procedure for this problem and provides computational results to characterise its performance.
