It is often difficult to compute total cost of a forward warehouse operation given uncertain demand and complex billing systems. The simulation presented here serves as a microcomputer spreadsheet decision support system which aids in determining least-cost warehouse location based on transportation, warehouse, and inventory cost considerations.
